Home Library Service

Our Home Library Service is for those who are unable to visit the library due to age, illness, disability or caring responsibilities.

You can also join if you require a temporary service after a serious illness or injury. 

To be eligible for the Home Library Service you must be a resident of the Wollondilly Shire Council Local Government Area.  

To discuss your eligibility please contact Wollondilly Library (see below).

1. Contact the Library and mention that you would like to join the Home Library Service. 
2. Our staff will be in touch to arrange an interview to confirm your eligibility and talk about your reading preferences. 
3. Deliveries are made fortnightly by our staff and volunteers on a specified delivery day.

• Books, including large print 
• Audiobooks 
• Magazines
• DVDs 
• Music CDs 
• Magnifying sheet to assist with vision impairment

Ask staff about e-books and other online resources.

Volunteers are a valued asset of our Library community. Volunteer roles include Home Library Service delivery drivers, events assistance, technology tutors and general shelving and tidying.  

There are currently no vacancies however you can express interest by emailing the library with your resume and the role you are interested in. We will keep your resume on file and get in contact with you if a vacancy becomes available.
