We are unable to accept donated items. We recommend contacting your local op shop or second hand book store to see if they would like them.

Limited parking is available in the Colden St carpark with some accessible spots. Alternatively there is more parking available on Walton Lane.
Membership

Library membership is free and open to everyone.
Join online or apply in person at Picton or the Mobile Library. You will need to show evidence of your current address and photo ID to finalise your membership.
People under the age of 16 must have a parent or guardian sign the membership form as guarantor, and the guarantor will require ID. People under the age of 18 who are living independently do not require a guarantor. Conditions of Membership can be found here. -
Contact Wollondilly Library to put a hold on, or replace, your card. Ask us about our virtual library card.
Borrowing

You can borrow up to 20 items per library card. All items have a 4 week loan period.
Some newly-released, high demand items may have a 2 week (14 day) loan period, you will be notified of this at time of borrowing.

Items can be returned to Picton Library or the Mobile Library. For after-hours returns, access the chute outside Picton Library.
Library items are publicly-funded community property, and should be returned so that others can use them.

When you joined the library, you created a PIN/password – you use this to log into our computers and your Library account online.
If you have forgotten your pin, select Forgot your password in the account login. A link will be sent to the email you registered with.
Your account will be blocked as a security measure if your pin is entered incorrectly in the account login too many times. If this occurs or there are any issues, contact the library and we will reset your PIN/password for you. -
There are no fines for late returns.
If an item is overdue, the Library will contact you to remind you to return it.
However, if you do not respond to requests to return overdue items, Council will charge full replacement cost of the item, plus processing charges.

Items which have been lost or returned damaged will incur a fee for the replacement cost of the item, plus a processing fee. The processing fee covers cataloguing, covering, RFID and stickers. The Council may undertake proceedings to recover this debt.

Yes, We have a range of platforms that provide a collection of digital books, audiobooks, magazines, comics, movies, TV series and music.

Yes, wi-fi is available at Picton Library and the Mobile Library, there is no password or access limit.

Time limited tickets are available for computer use, printing and copying for visiting customers who are not members.

There are events at the Library and out in the community for all ages. For a timetable of what's on see Events.

There is no charge to join or borrow. Wollondilly Library is funded by ratepayers, State Government funding and grant funding. For a list of fees and charges associated with resources and services see Wollondilly Council Fees and Charges.

Yes, meeting rooms can be booked for 2 hours at a time. To see when the meeting rooms are available see Meeting and Study Spaces.
