Assistive Technology
We have two dedicated computers with assistive equipment and software. They are located on the top floor of the library.
Sit stand desk
- Adjust the height of the desk to suit your preference
Large Print Keyboard
- The keyboard features extra large, high contrast print keys to assist with low vision.
Trackball mouse
- High contrast, extra large trackball to more easily move and position the cursor on the screen with two large buttons for left and right clicking
Zoomtext software
- Magnifier software for people who have low vision
Jaws Software
- Screen reading software to assist people who are blind or have low vision
- Due to the complexity of JAWS prior knowledge is needed

Fusion Software
- Fusion combines the features of ZoomText and JAWS so they can be used together
- Beneficial for users who want a smooth transition from using a magnifier to screen reading
